Autumns Goldens

A Responsible Breeder

At Autumns Goldens, we breed our Goldens to have friendly dispositions and fit in seamlessly as incredible family pets.

Since 1983, Our Base location moved to the beautiful western area of Kentucky where we live together with our Goldens, they are not kennel caged and insulated. We breed responsibly and according to the best practices of the trade, which makes us your go-to address to find your Golden Retriever. Our goal is to produce high-quality golden retrievers with excellent health and temperaments. Our goldens have plenty of fresh, country air and space to run, both of which are essential to their health and wellness.

We better the breed in many ways we do not spare any expense in the care of our adult dogs or puppies. We follow the Golden Retriever Club of America and the American Kennel Club recommendations and guidelines.  We evaluate our dogs through extensive medical testing for their eyes and heart when they are of age. Not only are our adult dogs examined in these key areas and others, but they are also genetically tested through UC DAVIS Veterinary Genetics  Laboratory  partnered with Orthopedic foundation for America we research the latest developments in canine genetics. Although genetics are not fool-proof to guarantee healthy puppies, we recognize their role in allowing us to make the best possible breeding decisions to minimize risks and help our puppies live long and healthy lives. We also adhere to the USDA's standards for raising all of our dogs in a high-quality environment with plenty of love and attention. We care about our adult dogs' physical, mental, and social health.

We take pride in raising our puppies to be happy, healthy, and ready for their adopted homes. We provide comprehensive socialization for our puppies, since it is one of the most critical components of a puppy's early development. We want families to adopt life-long companions, Socialization provides a strong foundation for healthy, well-adjusted adult dogs. Beginning with days 3-16 of the puppies' lives, we perform Bio Sensor stimulation exercises for the puppies by holding them in different positions. Studies have shown that dogs exposed to Bio Sensor exercises at a young age have improved cardiovascular performance, stronger heart beats, stronger adrenal glands, more tolerance to stress, and greater resistance to disease. You can read more about early neurological stimulation here.

As the puppies grow older, we expose them to a variety of surfaces to walk on, human touch all over their bodies, temperature changes, different sounds, children, and more. We want our puppies to be more than just healthy; we want them to be mentally and emotionally ready for their new families. We also screen all potential families through our Puppy Application Process. We are committed to finding a forever home for each puppy, so we want to make sure the puppy is a good match for each family.
